Anyhoots, I really like them, I'll have to do a Pepsi challenge with the Tesco beans, but these might just pip them and could become my new go-to bean. Top man
Noticed you can also get them on Amazon for £3.50 a bag if you buy by the half dozen, or £19.95 for 6 if you subscribe to a regular delivery. Once I've got them dialled in how I like them, I might just stop messing around with speciality roasters as it's too variable and does my head in, I just want the same cup of good coffee daily. I hate chasing my tail.

    Jules,

There is quite a bit of buggering about you can do with an Aeropress to improve the end product, but brew times and water temperature can be key if you can't change much else. I tried all sorts of combinations, till I got what I liked and is part of the reason I like to stick to a consistently good bean, as everytime you change you have to go through the whole trial and error process again. Bit like fecking HiFi and I can't be arsed with buggering about with that once I'm happy either, I just want to play music.

I might just try those Rave Sao Marco beans though.
I had some expectation bias against Taylor's for some reason that stopped me trying them for ages.

But they are good. Glad you like it considering you plumped for 3 bags on my reco! Would have felt guilty otherwise.

I like constant change I guess. But I do return to certain supermarket coffees quite a bit. It is just so much cheaper than the mail order companies and some of it really is quite drinkable. An awful lot of crap on the supermarket shelves though. You need some degree of wisdom.

Now, now Marco, don't get the man excited. He'll be dreaming of a buxom brunette to do the deed, and won't he be crushed when you show up.

Gonna buy one of these I think. Wanted a Sette 270W but feedback seems to indicate reliability issues and it is pretty flimsy plastic, which I can't handle.

Good looking grinder. Using a sage smart myself now as my neck was stopping me using my beloved hand grinder.

I am skeptical if I am really going to achieve anything by buying one. I have a pretty good Ascaso burr grinder and the only reason I am going for this is the relatives are contributing to an Xmas present for me in cash via my wife.

Can't really think of much else I want, though this will cost me, too. Its better than getting an unwanted load of junk for Xmas, though.

Well you're safe, I like them

I'm not totally mad about Taylor's normally, nothing wrong with them on the whole, just normally overpriced compared to other supermarket competition. Glad I tried these though.

I lied and went for a Rocket Fausto grinder, just because it matches my Rocket Evo espresso machine.

Nice grinder that Justin, did you get it from Bella Barista? Their service is outstanding.
