DSCF7050.jpgThis beautiful American made valve pre amp. is for sale as I have decided to stick with my Sophia Electric integrated .

I bought the pre from Elite Audio earlier this year and I believe I am its second owner, it comes fully boxed with manual and remote control and is in truly excellent condition . There is one small barely noticeable hairline scratch at the rear of the top plate, other than that it is in mint condition. This is the version 2 model.

I have been really very impressed with the sound and build quality of this amplifier , so much so that I regard it as the best pre amp. I have ever owned and I've owned quite a few.
Everything works as it should , it is very versatile and quite simply is an absolute joy to use and listen too.

I think the new price was something like $4995 and looking at the Herron web site it seems that this model has recently been discontinued - I have no idea why. If you do a search on the internet there are many very favourable reviews to be found.

It uses six 6922 dual triodes which are both easy to source and cheap to replace .
