    Leroy Carr..Prison Bound Blues



    Leroy was highly respected in his short life(died at 30), with the likes of Nat King Cole stylising their voice on his crooning style.
    These recordings are obviously old as he died in the 30's so heavy noise reduction is in place. Still, the sound is acceptable

    Henry played Texas blues and accompanied himself with homemade panpipes, that were called quills.
    Various modern stars were influenced by him, including Taj Mahal and Bob Dylan.
