Originally known as Eight years a ramblin' circa 71, this reissue on Fat Possum is a classic from Fred Mcdowell again plus his local harp and singer friend Johnny Woods, who ended up playing with RL Burnside(himself a trainee of McDowells).
oh this is whats called Hill Country Blues, which is related to fife and drum blues... Had a heavy boogie to it that can cause a sort of hypnotic affect
