    Good one Grant. Coincidentally we listened to this last evening while enjoying a happy hour cocktail. Hadn't heard it in ages and forgot how much fun it is. Great playing, and excellent recording quality. This one was THE audio system auditioning recording back in the '90s, at least in these parts. Stereophile and TAS were always using this as one of their references.

    This should be an essential addition to anyone's jazz collection. The Gonsalves sax solo in "Diminuendo and Crescendo in Blue" is legendary, and if it doesn't get you on your feet dancing, well there's no helping you

    only got the cd but as you say svend, it sounds very good as well as being great fun.
