I think I am nearing audio nirvana, but don’t tell anyone.
I came across Carey Bell by accident for a recommended test/listening track for HiFi, and like it so much I decided to hunt down some of his recordings. Initially I went for this complication which is excellent. All relatively unknown Blues artists, but all very good musicians. I might have to get some more of this series.

Louis Jordan - 'Caldonia'
I had forgotten how good this is. Jordan strides the gap between the Blues and Jazz with ease.
