Was using this earlier. Still am. It's called zero tier vpn
Lets me play music off my pc to anywhere in world on my phone or tablet when on either 4g or someone else's network.
Works very well and plays all formats. It's in conjunction with a ap called file browser.
Worth using if your out a lot
You even get album art.

Listening to this today -- Moons, by Myriad 3, a local band here:
Very atmospheric (pardon the pun). But not pedantic like some modern jazz can be.
They have a new album coming out in October, and I heard a song from it on radio the other day -- Pluie Lyonnaise -- really good stuff. Should be on Spotify soon.
They are touring the UK and Europe in October as well (http://www.myriad3.com/shows/ )
