Well if a couple of apparently fit and healthy coppers can't relieve a wheelchair-bound old man of his knife, what chance would they have against proper crims? Even I could do that, if I had a stick.

I would have expected wet-behind-the-ears dipshits to be accompanied by experienced officers, but the article doesn't make their ages and experience known.

That's the health 'n' safety culture for you, it entitles people to think their own safety is tantamount to everything else. 93 yr old one legged guy in a wheelchair, you couldn't make it up.

Surprised you didn't link the short dress with the paragliding post thought there was an obvious joke in there somewhere.

Sounds like the sort of thing Barbara Windsor would have got up to in the carry ons. Although in her case it would have caught on something as she took off.

    Yeah, I missed that one...

And yes Babs Windsor would have nailed it in a Carry On. "This paraglider must be faulty, I keep hearing a flapping sound"

Until about 30 years ago, dancing bears were quite a common attraction in that part of the world. These days they all go to raves, and don't know when to call it a night.

These days Alan Price would be singing "Simon Smith and his amazing gurning E casualty"
