Six officers? It's they that are the arseholes in this story.
I love Hendrix for so many reasons. He was so much more than just a blues guitarist - he played damn well any kind of guitar he wanted. In fact I'm not sure if he even played the guitar - he played music. - Stevie Ray Vaughan

Ridiculous response , it would have only taken one officer paying a visit to the house to "have a word".

Forty odd years ago I had had a few beers and decided it would be nice to stick my bum out of the passenger widow of my mates Cortina - lovely warm evening so I left it out for a good couple of miles thinking it would amuse the people in the car that was behind us.

When we got out at the local Chinese takeaway I was shocked to see that the car behind us was actually the police.
Copper approached me and said "having a bit of trouble in the back were we sir?"

Being young, drunk and stupid I demanded an identity parade

The constable explained to me that I could be in a lot of trouble and that my actions could also have got my mate (driver of car) in trouble - copper then smiled and told us to get home.
Job done, I accepted that I was daft, felt embarrassed by my actions and had greater respect for the police.

Yes, but as he probably hasn't appeared in court yet, they'll probably be round to nick us all for mentioning it here, saying we're trying to influence the outcome. 'Conspiracy to pervert the course of justice' springs to mind. Blue Meanies strike again!

I thought it was normal for the police to attract people like that. I mean, if you fail the exams for being a bouncer, where else can you get work?
