In fact they should be done under the trade descriptions act for calling it Doctor Who. Although the reality is only the Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker eras were properly good. Before them it's patchy and after them it goes steadily downhill.
I never hid behind the sofa but I do recall having a few nightmares. It was Proper Telly.
