Of course, ML won't make it, much the same as McIntosh don't make their T/T... It's made by a proper turntable manufacturer (in McIntosh's case Clearaudio), then branded under their name, but with a 'nice' mark up!

    Marco.
I don't think the current ML stuff is anything to do with him now so I'm sure you are right Marco.. and about the 'mark up'.. just using a 'name' to boost sales I reckon..

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

No not really - I'll stick with my EMT930 and Thorens TD124/II s.

My allegiance to ML is limited to thier electronics: phonostage, preamps, poweramps and CD player.

    ML-10A preamp (used as a phonostage), ML-25 phonostage, ML-26 and ML-28 preamps, ML-2 poweramp monoblocks and a 390S CDP.

Addition: I have a set of silver coaxial interconects marked "MLAS" fitted with Camacs at one end and RCA phonos at the other. Oh - and a 'Mark Levinson' sweatshirt made by Cutter and Buck, kindly given to me by Hi-Fi Dave of this parish. Thanks Dave.

Couple of pics from Planet Hollywoods, Haymarket (not as much memorabilia as I’d expected).

    A Bond frieze

This was hanging near the toilets to indicate where you could ‘boldly go’
