I spent years having multi-qualified engineers asking me how to do their job. Many hadn't the fogiest and I'm not just talking about newly qualified youngsters, lucky for them I was an amenable bloke.

It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

Perhaps we can raise the tone of this thread with a science question:
I took a bag of crisps onto the plane (flavour probably irrelevant, but FYI smoky bacon), and when during the flight I got them out, I found that the bag had inflated like a balloon. My guess is that the crisps were packed under normal atmospheric conditions, and then in spite of the plane's cabin being pressurised, the ambient air pressure was less than normal, causing the bag to act like a pumped up tyre.
My question is this:
Could this explain why whenever I fly anywhere I have an uncomfortable and urgent need to fart? Perhaps my guts are behaving like the crisps packet.
On the return trip I did take some precautions - no baked beans in the hours prior to flying, and a good dump that morning. Still had a lot of wind to let go of, which I meted out in tiny pips, which thanks to the pre-flight poo were not smelly. At least the old lady sat next to me seemed able to continue her word search and showed no obvious signs of distress.
Does my theory have any scientific basis, or is it just a load of hot air?
I just dropped in, to see what condition my condition was in
