    Not much option is there if he wants to put the fear of god into the EU. It's the only thing that will bring them back to the negotiating table. Shame so many people are too dim to see it.

    This is an unelected prime minister trying to use an unconstitutional means to drive through a policy for which there is no mandate. Might as well just start shooting folk who disagree with him.....

    Do you not understand that we need the EU to think a no deal option is both credible and possible before they will come back and negotiate? It's the one thing they are terrified of. Duh.

    As for 'unelected' he was elected by the people of Uxbridge and South Ruislip.
    We don't directly elect the PM in this country and never have.
