Political correctness doesn't work both ways. For some reason. Possibly because it's stupid and irrational? Just a guess.

In terms of the little black number, are you still perving at folk through holes in toilet walls? I thought the last visit to the therapist had cured you.

Those holes in toilet walls have other uses too That visit to the therapist was a waste of time - the idea was to cure me of this "delusion" that all women see me as a sex object, but I think he fancied me too. Being irresistible to women of all sexes isn't as much fun as you might think

Admittedly it's a look that improves with distance.

However, any idea what made her "go crazy", and when you realised that was the case? Sticking with each other for 19 years, before separating, suggests that most of the time things were ok, or you were a rather long-time suffering husband!

    Marco.
I know that guys are always saying that their wives are crazy, or their ex’s were crazy, but just because people say it all the time doesn’t mean it’s not true!

Actually that was the sad part. My ex suffered from a form of Lupus. (Arathosis dermatosis), meaning mostly on the skin. But, she had this condition all her life, and while it wasn’t fair, we dealt with it together, and it was rarely a problem. As far as I know, we were blissfully happily married those first 17 or 18 years. marred when I was only 18 years old.

But her mother, (also crazy), got to worrying her about applying for disability. Her dermatologist told her he couldn’t get her any disability, but perhaps she could get disability for a mental issue. So, he sent her to a psychiatrist. This doctor put her on Zoloft. An antidepressant. And within two months, she had a complete personality change. And was down right mean! I begged her to stop taking the stuff. I told her doctor about what was happening, and she was completely belligerent about it. Finally, after her mother, and best friend, and daughter begged her to stop taking the drug she did. But it was too late, she had permanent personality changes. Lying and cheating, cold and heartless. One day I was at work, and got an email that when I got home, she would be gone, and when I got home, she was. Moved in with some man she met on the Internet. That poor bastard, I’d sure hate to be him! Years later my own daughter told me that I was lucky to have gotten away from her when I did, because she was crazier than ever! So yes it is very sad. But, that was 18 years ago, and I guess it’s just one of those things. About two years ago, my best friend lost his wife to cancer. I told him, at least they parted on good terms. While death of a loved one is a truly horrible thing, I don’t know if it’s as bad as watching a loved one loose their mind? That’s pretty much how I see it, the girl I knew is long dead, that woman in her body is nobody I know.

Very true. Its also heartbreaking to see someone physically disintegrate in front of you. Especially if they stay relatively sane.
Yes think yourself lucky and by the grace of God it wasn't you
