Yes I think that is plenty early enough - we would normally do the tree etc. about a week to ten days before, and take it all down on the twelfth night. I personally would de-trim sooner than that as I think after New Year is over it all starts to look a bit untidy.I start getting into it properly after Del's birthday on 13th December, which is when we put up the tree and make the house all nice and Christmassy...
