The old Flake advert, and how it's 'girth' was handled by the wee girly in question, was much more interesting...

    Another rock 'n' roll legend

Story goes that when the fuzz busted Jagger for dope in the '60s, Maid Marianne was lying on the bed naked, completely off her nut - with a Mars bar up her lady bits and shouting 'Im a chocolate machine ... come an' get it !!'

Nic Roeg quoted it in the film 'Performance' ... when Chas arrives at Turner's house one early morning and there's a couple of Mars bars next to the milk on the front step

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

I once saw a programme on Channel 4 about myth/legends, and one of the items was something to do with this Mars Bar thing. A glamour model 'road tested' various chocolate bars. Winner was the four finger KitKat.

I imagine so, and probably no grassy verge (as is the fashion these days). I bet the KitKat was pre-frozen, in order to go the distance. Maybe it's my age, but I couldn't help thinking it was a terrible waste of good chocolate. I've just remembered, Curly Wurly was one of the other contenders - she can keep that.

A giant Toblerone should prove suitably stimulating.

I'm sure they would work a treat, and as the peaks wear down she could rotate it 120 degrees for a fresh point. More peaks per inch in those days for her pleasure. Modern Toblerones are pathetic

In a vain attempt to raise the tone of this conversation - I put up the Christmas tree and decorated it yesterday. Still can't yet get into the spirit of Christmas.
