She thinks these notions of gender are outdated - maybe in the world she inhabits, but up here women still look better in sexy underwear than blokes do (with the exception of Marco)

For some people, outrage is the only feeling they can readily access, as their sex-bits went numb long ago. She should do herself a favour and take up horse riding, or at least sit on her washing machine for a while.

My right ear feels like it's just suffered a Kanye West marathon.

I was clearing up this morning when finishing a job, and like the silly sod I am, I kung fu kicked a section of window frame in order to fit it in the van. Part of it flew up and smacked my head broadside. Bled like buggery too.

Too early to tell whether it's cured my tinnitus, but I'm not hopeful.

    Ya daft booger.
Mind you we have all done daft things, I struck something with a claw hammer once (can't remember what it was) and the hammer bounced back and the claw struck me between the eyes.

Could have been a lot worse

How annoying, bad enough when it happens during the day. I had to get up for a pee, one of the things about getting older! Took the opportunity to make a cuppa, wonder if that is wise!

a few years ago a neighbours alarm sounded and wouldn't stop when they went on holiday. Another neighbour 'sorted' it with a hammer. They were very apologetic when they returned. Modern alarms should have a 20 minute cut off but it sounds in your case that it keeps getting reset.

Phone rang at 8:00 AM, thought that was a bit early for Sunday, neighbour couldn't start his car and wanted to go and play golf. Took spare battery and jump leads, sorted, time for another cuppa.
