Well it is good practice to vary your routine in order to make kidnapping or assassination attempts more difficult.

Yes that's what it must be - why else would she abandon a comfy bed on a comfy armchair next to a warm radiator in a quiet room, the ungrateful little turd?

Does anyone have an explanation for this? Is she just sick of her own smell? Makes no sense to me.
I don't think there is any explanation for cat behaviour. Mia slept in a lovely cosy bed for ages then completely ignored it. Like Alice she tries all sorts of places for a while and then settles for a particular spot, currently the back of the sofa in the evening and then the foot stool for the night. Previous resting spots include my bed, the floor, my turntable, my speakers, the window sill and the top of the fridge.

Alice also likes to lie on the foot stool, but only when Mrs. Pony is using it. I think she's attracted to the smell.

It all gets a bit confusing - Mrs. P's feet smell like Alice's cat food, Alice's paws post-litter tray smell like Mrs. P's cooking. Love 'em both to bits though.

I think it’s a female cat thing. Our male cat has happily used the same bed since he was a kitten, however, the female has been through dozens of options, the longest of which lasted about 3 months!

After a period of using whatever the latest favourite is, she will simply stop using it and refuse to go near it.

Do people really have nothing better to do? This isn't news, is it even an issue? If you don't like it keep walking!

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

I think 'Fran Bailey' might be having somewhat of a menopausal strop, and is probably just pissed (no pun intended) because sexy knickers won't support her Tena Lady pads!
