    Good to know - so what is Thai for "A bit runny and most of it was floating, but on the whole I can't complain"

    Edit: Just re-read your post, where it says "doesn't mean" Still, I now know a bit of Thai, and that one will stick with me.

    I'm reminded of a story my aunt told me of a time when she and my uncle (a kitchen fitter) went on holiday. Whenever they came across German holidaymakers he greeted them with the only bit of German he knew, which he'd memorized from a kitchen installer's manual. Which translated to "left hand wall cupboard".
