The man was mad to do that. It doesn't matter how big a cat is they are murderous predators, even my little Mia often looks at me as if she's calculating how long it would take her to " dispose " of me.

I seem to have developed a bit of a crush.

Season 2 of "Legion" on Fox has just started, and I thought I would re-watch season 1 on catch up. I have to watch these at least twice anyway, to get my head around it. Worth it though, as the visuals and the soundtrack are pretty cool.

Anyway, a few minutes into episode one, there she is, Syd Barrett, played by Rachel Keller. There is a parallel universe where she is the Missus, I just need the right drugs to take me there, although they may not have been developed yet.

I'd put a pic on here if I knew how to, but I don't - sorry! But if you have time, and are able, watch the first episode and see what you think. But don't get any ideas - she's mine!

As stated by Lenny, a fellow mental patient, "Why are the hot ones always so crazy?"

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

Just watched 'Wheeler Dealers' again. Mike brewer is such a tit! Why does he insist on doing that stupid bloody slapping handshake, does he think it makes him look slick? It's cheap and just plain rude!!

A rather intriguing post Bev. Care to elaborate, we're good listeners!

Most of my old flames are/were sexy, but ALL of them turned out to be mental. But when the crazy/hot ratio goes the wrong way it's time to become an ex (possibly resurfacing later as an old flame). Of course this is just a theory as I was always the one being dumped!

I sometimes wonder what became of my "first love". I haven't seen her since 1974. Now she WAS a nutter, but super-sexy too.

I keep in touch with an old flame. Known her since she was seventeen, she's in her fifties now. She a bit of a loose cannon, adores me though.
