Started getting milk delivered this week, two pints twice a week. Comes in bottles just like in the olden days.
Will have to remember to put the empties out though. Not done that since about 1980. Also forgot to ask how much it costs, hopefully it's not more expensive than the corner shop.

We went back to delivered milk a few years ago, as I wanted to support local business, 2 pints each day, and he collects his money each Friday. That would have been ok, and I didn't even mind paying a bit more, but...
Often delivery didn't come till after I'd gone to work, so sometimes it was a toast breakfast (put me in a shit mood for the day. Also he would rock up every third or fourth week (not always Friday) and expect a big lump of cash. So... supermarket pay-as-you-go milk again.
