Yes, all made on China, I don't think manufacture was ever in Italy. I have a couple of vintage 1980s tops and they say 'Styled In Italy' on the label so obviously not made there.
I don't know about Conners, McEnroe was always the Tacchini man.

I've got enough Tacchini to see me out. They re-issued some of the 1980s stuff a few years ago so I bought one, think it was £130 for the top and bottoms together. Can't spend that kind of money now I'm a retiree though.

That's what I've always done anyway. For years I bought all my clothes from the military surplus - fifty pee for a shirt, quid for a pair of keks or a jumper. Think I was about thirty before I had the spare cash to waste on new clothes and then I went a bit mad.
