    Yes, all made on China, I don't think manufacture was ever in Italy. I have a couple of vintage 1980s tops and they say 'Styled In Italy' on the label so obviously not made there.

    I don't know about Conners, McEnroe was always the Tacchini man.

    you cant be serious yes he was too as you say. good style ... i usually buy from premier man/jacamo as they have odd sizes and prices are usually good. oddly i was on there earlier and prices are way up.. i will get by with what i have for now.

    got a bottle of scotch coming for shelf instead lol

    I've got enough Tacchini to see me out. They re-issued some of the 1980s stuff a few years ago so I bought one, think it was £130 for the top and bottoms together. Can't spend that kind of money now I'm a retiree though.

    You will be having to replace anything now from the bargain basement bin in Primark or simply wear stuff till its full of holes and hanging off you?

    That's what I've always done anyway. For years I bought all my clothes from the military surplus - fifty pee for a shirt, quid for a pair of keks or a jumper. Think I was about thirty before I had the spare cash to waste on new clothes and then I went a bit mad. Still have most of that stuff, some of it hardly been worn.
