Watch 'Nobody's Fool' 1994 if you get the chance. You don't and never did hear much about it, but it is just superb.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

Another worthy recommendation imo is "Thunderbolt and Lightfoot" if you haven't already seen it. Made early 70's, has great story and terrific cast (Clint Eastwood, Geoff Bridges, George Kennedy). One of my all-time favourites

I like George Kennedy. His stand out role for me is still Captain Ed in Naked Gun. Given his penchant for big roles in massive films, he did the comic stuff perfectly. Flexible actor.

Yeah he was great, very versatile, and apparently all-round good guy, one of the most respected and best loved men in Hollywood I read somewhere.

Clearly though, you and I have very different tastes in women, as for me she has a gorgeous, model-like face (great skin and bone structure), and rather beautiful

I hate women who look 'hard', or as if they could drink more beer than me or potentially beat me at arm-wrestling. Petite, delicate and girly, with a cheeky penchant for naughtiness, always wins - you can keep yer shot-put throwers with more facial hair than Santa!

Yeah, we don't have different tastes, it's just that my tastes extend to attractive women of all types, whereas your taste is very specific. I mean, that the woman needs to be brunette, well what can I say? My youngest brother (51) is similarly picky, even down to something as unimportant as hair colour, and he is still single. You can count yourself lucky that you weren't forced to broaden your tastes to avoid a similar fate

And I'm not keen on hairy birds either, but I'm certainly not intimidated by women who 'look hard' The 'girly' girls are too much like my daughters and their friends, and that's wrong in all kinds of ways. maybe if I was single...

But I might make an exception for Jenna Coleman
