possibly not. Was watching Air Crash Investigation the other day, Lear jet crashed because it lost cabin pressure. Pilots started working through the checklist but the first item on the checklist was not 'Don oxygen masks.' They never got to that step before they were overcome with hypoxia. Sometimes it can be that simple.
