Yeah, she likes Docs for, as she puts it, 'bombing about in' (as she's always going around at 100 miles an hour and can't sit still for 2 mins, which is the opposite from me), and of course they're comfy and keep her feet warm.
Not cheap either, as you say, I got them for her birthday, after receiving a 'want these' email, lol.

I t was always Kicker boots for me. Bright red. Really comfortable and quite hard wearing. When I bought my first pair in 1977, they were £29. They still make them, and they go for around £65.
