    I'd go Lonsdale they make high VFM clothes these days. I'm assuming that its purchase by Mike Ashley and subsequent adoption by those on benefits who seem to spend most of their waking hours smoking outside their local Wetherspoons hasn't tarnished the perception of a well known brand. Also that the quality has not deteriorated.

    I avoid buying anything with motifs or logos, no lurid colours either. Camo is OK though .

    Me too. (The manufacturers don't pay me to advertise their wares.)

    I have the same resentment to buying supermarket carrier bags. Being emblazoned with the name of the shop - they should pay me for the advertising service I provide.
