    Default FS: Mana Acoustics Wallshelf

Mana Acoustics wallshelf for sale. Iron frame has the odd mark or ding but overall is in very good condition. The glass shelf got broken during a house move several years ago. Also included is a wooden laminated base from a reference top which can be used to support the turntable if you don't want to replace the shelf.

Not sure what to ask for this. I bought the wallshelf secondhand 10 years ago for about £120 so £60 seems fair. Posting isn't viable for me so collection from Holmfirth, West Yorkshire, is the best option or you can arrange a courier yourself. I may be able to deliver within a reasonable distance for petrol cost.

Please email paul_g(at)riseup.net or PM if interested.

    Hi Paul,

That's a good price, considering that from memory, new, these were around £300. And they are an extremely effective platform upon which to place a turntable. Nothing else is quite like it.

You do need the glass, however, for the shelf to perform as intended, but you can get that made by any decent glazing firm (10mm toughened glass with polished edges, from memory), which of course is reflected in the price you're asking.

Do you still have all the top spikes and nuts? From the picture, it looks like it, but isn't totally clear... If not, I've got spares and could send them onto the buyer concerned, F.O.C.

Anyway, good luck with the sale!

    Marco.

Yes the top spikes and nuts are all there. I should have mentioned that. Was it really £300 new? Wow! I thought it was about £200. And of course they are not made anymore. Thanks, Marco.

Yes they were just under £300, and then you had the Reference Wall Shelf, which was achieved by putting a Soundstage support (with glass shelf) on top of the wall shelf itself, with an MDF board acting as a base between the two, which cost even more, but was superbly effective.

Anyway, Paul, there's a problem with your pictures, as they seem to have disappeared, so you'll need to look into that and sort it.

Yes a problem with the photos, something to do with Photobucket about which I know not. Fortunately it appears to be provisionally sold. If that sale falls through I'll get back to you, Marco.
