“Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of fuel. Sentimental people call it inspiration, but what they really mean is fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio”

Yes, they are K2 S9800 inspired/DIY clones. They are active and use a combination of drivers from across the Synthesis program.15" ME150H bass from the S3100, I use a 4" beryllium comp driver(as in the DD66000) rather than the 3"Be from the S9800 on the same horn(H9800). I've dispensed with the super tweeter as the 4"Be is good out to 18khz.
Second system has the 3" 2435 Be on an Array SAM1 horn with a 12" 2206 bass mid. The house is also full of Tannoys, Arden1's and System 15 DMT2's in the main.I'm in the middle of an Arden Legacy clone project too using 3833/3836 drivers.

Very nice! That box must have weighed something. I know how heavy those are.
