    Awesome.

Is the room deliberately bare of anything absorbtive*?

    Hi Jerry

The room isn't 'bare', just minimalist ;-)

Genesis main drivers are planar ribbons which have a dipole radiating pattern so are less affected by absorptive material. I have had a laptop and microphone set up to help get the frequency range (mostly) flat in the room and soft furnishings or tube trap type thingies were not necessary

The sofas in the room do have plenty of soft furnishings too
