My two owned brands are the same as yours, different models though.

One is a Rolex Explorer 2, 42mm version with the orange’GMT’ hand,
And the other is a Bulova Lunar Pilot.

Some fantastic innovative design work being done in the Micro Brand world, I’d look to that before anything else.

    That said,
love my Grail watches, there’s something to be said about authenticity.
One my my amusements is to see how far away I can check to see if a 'Rolex' is genuine or not. More often or not, as long as I can see the face, I can tell, one way or another. But some times you need to look at the back of the watch; and even then I have seen some that would require opening up to examine the mechanism. Some fakes are getting better and better.

Anyone for Christopher Ward? I have a few and find them rather excellent.

There are a couple of hard to fake points on modern Rolex - the rehaut and the etched crown. But even these are being attempted by the better forgers. As long as the price of Rolex keeps going up, so will the attempts to fake them!

Which reminds me - I'm not a fan of AP or gold but I actually saw on Insta today a reasonably priced one that didn't make me go yuck! It's quartz but it caught my attention

This was posted on eBay, not as a Rolex, but a quality divers watch

It got to over £500 before the seller withdrew it, or was made to by eBay

I was going to say the case is too thick for a Sub, like a Tudor case....until I spotted it's a Sea Dweller homage. Hard to spot it's fake from photos.......
