One Coach, one Michael Kors, one "everyday" Seiko, my grandfather's engraved watch that was presented to him to mark 45 years as a GWR engine driver and a crazy Tokyo Flash LED device that looks like a radiation detector and is damn near impossible to tell the time on!

I think I still have an original 1980s Swatch tucked away somewhere as well.

Fair shout, if you like it and it tells the time then job done.

It would be boring if we all had the same watch on.

After my dad died all I wanted of his was his Bulova watch but it never came my way so years later I found an identical one, 1927 solid gold case and bracelet, it's just a shame it's too small for me. I've also got a Raketa Baltika Russian military watch from the 1950s, it needs cleaning but when it is running it has a beautifully soft tick and a Bulova Acutron Spaceview but I can't find that one either at the moment. I really must be more methodical when packing for moving house lol.

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

I am, I have a 1960s "superflat" Omega Constellation. Will find a pic and post it up. I like subtle minimal watches, no bulk or bling please.
