    Gold plate is fine. I've lots of gold plate, well rolled gold mostly which, although a different method amounts to same. Was very common on higher class pockets to give that rich look without actually paying for it
    Nickel was basically the cheap silver and wore better.
    With me not getting suit dressed these days they never get an outing. Really aught to sell them

    It's a watch I wanted for ages Alan and finally managed to buy one for the actual retail price. With the demand for Rolex sports watches I could make a substantial profit if I were to sell it but it's going nowhere. The only reason I might let it go is if I could use it as a part trade against a stainless steel Daytona but they're ridiculous money at the moment.
