Sadly I fear it must be... as they like to call them these days... a 'homage'.!
Which is why it would be cheap.

Looking closely, the chronograph inset dials aren't for 0-30 mins, hours and 0-60 std watch time seconds as they should be on a Seamaster Planet Ocean.

See pics of genuine Omega one...

Sadly you could well be right, I'll chalk it up to experience. I look on these things as swings and roundabouts, I've had some cracking deals on many things over the years so if I get my fingers burnt once in a while then so be it. Anyway it looks pretty and would fool another stupid person lol.

I'd suggest that's the perfect approach..

I was going to ask what you’d been timing when I saw the sweep second hand wasn’t at 12 Ian.

Still a decent looking automatic watch though.

As you say it's a nice looking auto, the movement, whoever made it, looks well made, I think I counted 23 jewels. I wasn't royally ripped off over the price but more than you'd like to pay for a "homage" watch. Like I said in an earlier post I won't dwell on it for too long. Looks nice in the display box though
