It’s a rubber strap Barry, probably the most practical material for a diver’s watch. Had to cut the strap to size it which made me sweat a bit, if I cut too much off there was no going back!
It has a substantial clasp with a ratcheted adjustment to fit it over your wetsuit (not that I’ve got one )
Thanks - I thought it might be rubber, which as you say is very practical for a diver's watch. The only problem possibly is with it perishing and tearing, but it does look nice with the watch.

Yes, rubber straps do degrade over the years. I have two Seiko divers, both around ten years old, that are on their second straps (original ones cracked) but I also have a Citizen Promaster that's over fifteen years old & retains it's original. They must use slightly different compound in their straps?
