    Default Car (or bike) Chat!

The conversation on threads often drifts to transport issues for some reason, so I thought it might be good to have a thread to address such matters (probably been done before). Anything car (or bike or any other transport) related is often a popular topic, so here's a good place to bung it all!
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

    I'll kick off.

Who drives what? Don't be shy!

I've got a 2005 Suzuki Ignis 1.3 GL Estate which goes like the clappers, quickest 1.3 I've had by a long way, but it's on its second dodgy gearbox in six months. I've been unlucky, they're usually reliable! It goes tomorrow, I'm selling it!

Also, I own a 1997 Golf 1.9 Diesel estate. Nice simple car, 50 to 60 mpg, no turbo, no DPF, no electric windows, no electric sunroof, no aircon, manual box, steel wheels, so nothing to break or go wrong really. At 87k miles it has another 200k left in it (with luck). Due to the flexiblity, it does the motorway bit nicely without constantly going up and down through the gears. It's a lazy drive.

And there's my 2004 Suzuki Carry 1.3 van, great little tool. Good on juice, just big enough to be useful and very nippy. I've had it nearly seven years and it's still only got 42k on the clock.

This is the 2.7 V6 Hyundai Coupe I had, it was rather good fun and quite rapid, sold it last year:

Isn't the cost of insurance etc. on three vehicles prohibitive Geoff? Why not just have one that does all you need it to do?
