My Hamilton 669 traffic special. This is a Swiss re issue from 50's.
No serial no as was their way. Its on the case which is marked Hamilton too.
Great watch tho and was my daily wear for years.

Have to say the tolerances on the case screw is superb compared to the usual American pockets

This Conquest I bought off eBay, it was in a right state but I managed to fully refurbish it and get it back into running order...still one of my favourites today.
Much respect for mastering that type of intricate work. I've managed resizing & changing straps & also changing batteries but that's about as far as my 'skills' go. It's mainly done in an attempt to maintain my manual dexterity.

That’s a fine collection Grant. Oldest watch I’ve got is Dad’s gold ‘Zenta’. I recall him having the mainspring replaced, it was some time later he noticed that the gold winder was no longer gold

Yes I know what it’s trying to be but most divers watches look similar anyway. Very impressed with this for the price, decent bracelet with screws rather than push pins, good power reserve & timekeeping seems just about spot on.

I would imagine the company that produces these watches just uses the name to impart a sense of prestige, I doubt they've anything to do with the car manufacturer.
