I am not keen on most of the watches on this thread, ie the "Sub look a likes" but that bling free black faced watch with white hands and numerals is lovely.

    Is that a "Cheapie" @Roy S?

Yes. It’s a sterile dial Parnis, can’t recall exactly but probably around the £40 mark.

"Sterile dial"?!! Don't you just love marketing and advertising speak.

That said, as an example of "watch of the day", it is one of the nicest shown to date.

My parner picked this up at a boot sale - think she paid less than £10 for it and it's unused, complete with all packaging and paperwork.

    Is it a good watch?

Just means no branding or logo on the face. Here's the unsterile version (different movement, has a date window + slightly larger face & a fancier crown).

I have a number of Fossil watches & whilst they're really a fashion brand they're reasonable watches in their own right & you got a bargain there I'd say. Is it working? I'm guessing it's quartz (battery).
