You can buy new Seiko Kinetics for less than that so unless you've got a particular sentimental attachment to it (& it's a nice looking watch) that's what I'd do.

No sentimental attachment although it was my daily watch watch for about 14 years, but was losing time and stopping, so treated myself to a Tag Carrera as a replacement.

A very reasonable replacement I'd say, auto?

Yes, and a lot more expensive than the Seiko, although I did get it at a decent discount.

A very attractive watch, funnily enough I’ve got a Seiko that’s very similar.

Just picked up this diver's watch from TK Maxx at a rather good price.

I've been casually looking for a nice automatic at a good price for many years. Having had a couple of expensive Swiss watches stolen in the past, I was wary of spending too much. I could have got a Japanese one but I've been determined to wait for a Swiss one to come up.

So, I pop into TK Maxx every few months in case they have something nice. Most of them are Diesel, Michael Kors and the like, or ones that say "designed in London" on the box (read made in China), but occasionally you get the odd Swiss one. So far they've been either quartz or not particularly attractive. Until today!

I'd not heard of the brand before and a quick Google search showed that these appear to be the genuine article and not some online only Amazon cheapie. There was a matt black rather austere military looking one or this; it wasn't a difficult decision to choose this one after trying them both on.
