    They get good reviews on watch collectors' sites. Originally developed from an existing Swiss Minerva design for the Chinese PLA airforce, they have a certain 'retro' charm about them; and you would have to pay a few thousand pounds for a Swiss alternative, rather than the few hundred Seagull ask.

    That said, I wouldn't be seen dead wearing one.

    Sadly there will be some Chinese made chips in my TV and in my car, but I knowingly avoid/boycott ostensible Chinese goods. A few have slipped throught the net: some kitchen utensils bought from IKEA, and my 'North Face' outdoor jacket was made in China.

    i dont deliberately buy chinese but i dont fret too much about it. i dont want to help the ccp but cant help feeling sorry for their workers, and if they get no sales then the starve; not the ccp
