“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

    3C, rain and wind.

March is coming "in like a lion", so ought to leave "like a lamb".

no weather here yet, still a bit early for it, but according to forecast rain is on the way. For a change.

1C, going to be a cold day, but starts warming from tomorrow, into double figures by mid week.

Same here. Bit of frost this morning as last night the sky was clear, now it's cloudy so not really warming up.

Last week I looked at BBC Weather on my phone, which showed that the temps would be in the high teens. Couldn't believe it, then just when I was thinking about going swimwear shopping I noticed it was talking about weather in Nessebar, Bulgaria Must be a hangover from my holiday last year. Bloody Huwawei phones
I just dropped in, to see what condition my condition was in

Forget the past, it's gone. And don't worry about the future, it doesn't exist. There is only NOW.
