    Nice rolex that..

Just found this Gruen. Forgot i still had it.

A few marks inside although it looks worse in pic than it is.

think the dial is fairly rare, is it sun burst or star burst

When it comes to diver's or explorer's watches, those by Rolex are IMO the most stylish.

My next Rolex purchase was going to be a Daytona but now I’ve seen how small they are the Submariner is back in the frame - probably just a simple black faced version on a steel bracelet.

Yup quite similar in style. The gruen has fancy legs too. There are a couple of connections with Rolex and Gruen. Although an American Co and were at one time americas biggest, most of their movements were Swiss or german

It’s one of the most accurate watches going, manufacturers claim +/-15 seconds a year!
It has a sweep second flyback hand, and the 262khz technology makes the sub dial second counter have a double tick movement, so theoretically breaking down each second counted into 2 movements.

Why do I want to sell it?
The wife hates it and won’t be seen out with me if I wear it!
    SRP was around £415.
    Sell for £160 postage included.
