well, that the interest is in homemade , not bought stuff, so i wont post readymeals again..

That's entirely up to you, but it's only natural that if you're a food enthusiast, which most of us who post here are, that you're going to be more interested in seeing examples of dishes that someone has made, with their own fair hands, than mass-produced meals from a supermarket. That goes without saying, mate.

It's a bit like with hi-fi, who here would be interested in someone posting pics of their 'Matsui midi-system' from Tesco?

Far more interesting to see stuff that folks have loving made themselves, ably represented before by anything you've made and posted here, such as your stews, etc! And now bread. That's what is most interesting for any foodie!

However, those pasta dishes you've got are a different ball game, as they're as good as homemade, so accordingly look better when photographed. Anyway, just explaining things from my POV, as my intention wasn't to cause offence.

Cool... It's not a case of not being interested. Personally, I'm always interested in seeing ANYTHING folks are eating, as I have a major interest in the whole subject of food and the culture behind it, but it's always going to be more interesting, and also generate more comments, when the food you're posting pics of is something you've made yourself.

That stands to reason mate, as we're all discerning types here, when it comes to hi-fi, music, food or drink, and therefore accordingly enthusiasts of such! So homemade food is always going to generate more interest and comments accordingly

It's not that no-one's interested in seeing pics of ready meals, but rather that homemade food, or even just something that's been freshly cooked or prepared, such as a roll and sausage, or a nice salad, is always going to generate more interest on a food thread, simply because someone's taken the time to make it, just like someone's taken the time to assemble a separates hi-fi system, rather than simply buying a 'ready-made solution' from a supermarket!

Had dinner round 'er indoors last night, gammon joint, boiled pots & pease pudding with a side salad. Main meal wasn't that photogenic, suppose I could have taken a pic of the salad which was quite colourful but served on her granddaughter's 'Thomas the Tank Engine' plate
