    Forgot to post this yesterday (lunch)... 'Saltimbocca alla Romana' (chicken breast wrapped in Parma ham and fresh sage with Marsala), herby potatoes, carrots and mangetout - enjoyed on a tray in front of the TV!

    lots of great textures mingling with the chicken, bacon and a thick tasty sauce.. soft but very well done spuds in bite size pieces, plus mangetout peas..sweet and again a change of texture

    its still pretty shitty here so it may be the stew, or maybe pasta meatballs' or a ruby murray

    i dont like slimy textures of things i associate with softish being hardish etc. like hard carrots or mushy peas
