Cheers, dudes. It was great, and would've loved to have shared it with you

Del spatchcocked a chicken yesterday, which had been marinating in herbs, garlic and spices overnight, and cooked it on the BBQ (when there's only two of you, you have to make the most of it when it's lit), so will be having some of that today cold with more salads, oh and of course some vino... In fact, as it's such a lovely afternoon, we'll probably crack open a chilled bottle of bubbly!

    It'd be rude not to!

Incidentally, I expect a suitably pithy reply to my cheeky prodding of you in the car thread...

Looks fab! Really missing the garden now we are in lockdown in the flat. Could murder a BBQ in the sunshine.

A mainly digital setup with a musical amplifier and endearing 1970's speakers. A CD player that hardly ever gets used and a turntable that is good enough to remind my how enjoyable my old vinyl is. Some cables and things.

Cheers, Tony. How come you're not allowed in your garden? As long as you're social distancing from others, there's no issue! And surely if the garden is communally shared, then the residents simply agree on times when they can use it separately?

Anyway, ours is looking ok for this time of year until the plants start to grow and create some colour....

That's only the front, which we sometimes use when entertaining more guests than we can comfortably accommodate in the sheltered backyard area where we eat.. There's the same again, and a bit more at the rear of the property, although without a lawn, not including our driveway

There isn’t one at the flat, just a car park. There’s a park/woods at the back so it’s fine for walking but no area where we could have a bbq. Unfortunately, I have to work as we are part of supply chain for key medical/lab equipment manufacture. I’m mostly working from home but have to go in at least a few hours a week for ‘hand-on’ stuff. Would be nice to be in the house on the Wirral but happened to be down here when lockdown occurred.
