The creme caramel in particular looks superb. Only thing I'd say is that they were rather skimpy with the chips... Roy definitely wouldn't approve!

One thing lacking in Barbados was chips, you had to eat at Colin's beach bar if you wanted them. Off to St Lucia next year (Sandals) and have already made enquiries about the chip situation.

The other small point I'd make about James' meal, is I have a bit of a 'thing' about chefs who don't top and tail their green beans, thus leaving the 'ends' on. You wouldn't get that in France, and it's rather lazy.

It was a good meal for a chain and everything cooked properly apart from the beans
What you may not been aware of was that the portion of chips on my plate was only about half of the chips as I ate the other half instantly with the help of Helen as I was so ravenous. You know what its like with super crisp fries.
