I can say whatever I like Marco. And asking you what you think is completely valid.

I am not sitting in some interrogation chair, under the orders of some Nazi Gestapo megalomaniac with electrodes on my balls!

    Or am I?....

    Fuck! Turn the voltage down!!!

I'm not keen on pate. Why do you make that assertion? Just because I don't like duck and orange?

That said I do make chicken liver pate. But very rarely and I get fed up with it pretty quickly when I do. So I don't do it so much anymore.

    Like this...

    1 onion
    500g of minced beef
1tbls Harissa mix or Moroccan spice
About half a bottle of good ketchup
    Top it with chips.

Throw it in oven for 30 mins.

Looks like shit but tastes great.

Yes, I usually add baked beans if I'm being honest. :-)

To be fair though, the ketchup completely breaks down on cooking and adds a lovely sweetness and moisture (Matron!).

Yes, but it's not valid in the context of answering the question I asked. That's what politicians often do, as an avoidance tactic: ask another question, to save them from addressing the one that they didn't want to answer!

Lol - don't be daft. If you make a statement, which I (or anyone else finds interesting or intriguing), then I/we are entitled to ask questions. Simple. That's not an "interrogation"; it's a discussion! I repeat - you said:

And I simply asked why? The normal response would simply have been to have explained why you felt that way, but for some reason (only known to you) you were, and seemingly still are, reluctant to do so

Fair enough, that's your prerogative, but it simply leaves me wondering why you won't just say what you think. I'm certainly not going to be offended by it.

Now there you've got completely the wrong end of the stick...

I didn't say you weren't keen on pate - quite the opposite, in fact.

Pate is a from of French food, right? Ok, the other day you said that the pate and Melba toast I'd posted pics of looked great, but if it were you, you'd have chosen a different type of pate, as you're not keen on duck and orange, right?

So..... That suggests to me that you LIKE pate, just not one that's made from duck and orange. Therefore, I said last night that you must enjoy some French food, as you appear to LIKE pate [just not duck and orange].

    Geddit?

    Marco.
