It's my Life Decision Gate - CBA+ (Can Be Arsed) or CBA- (Can't Be Arsed)
A mainly digital setup with a musical amplifier and endearing 1970's speakers. A CD player that hardly ever gets used and a turntable that is good enough to remind my how enjoyable my old vinyl is. Some cables and things.

Anyway, it's Del's birthday today, so I'm taking her out this evening to the Chester Christmas market. She loves getting all wrapped up, when it's bitterly cold like this, and going round all the lovely stalls, decked out in beautiful spangly decorations, and getting all rosy-cheeked whilst sipping some mulled wine! It's a nice vibe and really puts you in the Christmas spirit

Del loves it because she can taste little bits of different things, rather than sitting down to a 3-course meal, and it's a cool place to go - all cosy and candlelit inside. Then it's back home to enjoy a good film in front of the log fire, where I've got her some nice chocolates, and pink Champers chilling in the fridge

Preamps: Heavily-modified Croft Charisma-X. LDR Stereo Coffee. Power Amps: Tube Distinctions Copper Amp fitted with Tungsol KT-150s. Quad 306.
Cables & Sundries: Mark Grant HDX1 interconnects and digital coaxial cable, plus Mark Grant 6mm UP-LCOFC Van Damme speaker cable. MCRU 'Ultimate' mains leads. Lehmann clone headphone amp with vintage Koss PRO-4AAA headphones.
Tube Distinctions digital noise filter. VPI HW16.5 record cleaning machine.
