Paella on Friday night (also had Padron Peppers and King Prawns in Garlic).
Saturday was some Fig, Rosemary & Olive bread and some nice homemade meatballs in an entirely non-Italian context accompanying Casarecce pasta in a nice simple tomato ragu.

Taking my daughter to Pizza Express. Actually for a chain it isn’t bad at all, especially the romana base pizzas.
Tony, looks great, bet you enjoyed making all.
Tonight am going to get a brisket slow cook ready and flick it on in the morning before work. Bottle of good Czech pilsner in there and a dollop of concentrated tomato purée works a treat with the beef stock, onions, celery and carrot. Bay and thyme are the herbs.

For lunch yesterday, had home-made spaghetti bolognaise topped with Parmesan cheese and served with peas. I was just about to take a photo and hesitated. The large plate was so piled high, I was almost embarrassed, scoffed the lot. Was very nice.
