Chicken soup, followed by rhubarb crumble, which is my favourite dessert, or is it bread'n'butter pudding, emmmmm. What's everyone having for Xmas? I fancy something different, goose? I'll probably just stick with pheasant, perhaps a new way to prepare it.

Unfortunately I loath all forms of fowl. My biggest dislike is turkey, and because of that, when I lived with my parents we would always have roast beef at Christmas. I have tried to like fowl having tried: turkey; chicken; goose; patrtridge; pheasant; puffin; quail, and ostrich. I haven't tried swan, but I doubt I would like it. I quite liked ostrich (which has a more 'meaty' taste), but it is difficult to rear them here in the UK.

If I did want to try something exotic for Christmas, it would be venison, which I like very much.
