Needed something quick and simple. So - mushroom (chestnut) omelette (with a little dill, basil and chervil herbs), oven chips and peas.
Dessert was some granola with Greek yoghort.
All washed down with a 2020 Château du Tertre Belair. Côtes de Bordeaux.

Pushing the boat out for a midweek dinner tonight, as it was such a beautiful sunny winters day, that left me hankering for some winter flavours, so it's pheasant breast with 'vineyard' sauce (grapes, sugar, game stock, herbs), celeriac puree, roasties, and whatever greens I have in. Plus a cheap but drinkable bottle of red I used for the sauce, which I'll try not to finish.

Lasagne al forno, with steamed green beans, leeks and red pepper.
An orange for dessert, and washed down with a glass or two of
2020 Château Petit Pindefleur, Saint-Émilion.
Merlot (90%) and Cabernet Franc (10%) grape. 14% ABV, £17 a bottle.
(And NO, I don't drink a whole bottle in a single session!)
